Maemo, the open source operating system for mobile devices launched by Nokia, conquest new devices, like this V7 ZTE, a MID with a 4.1 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels.The device measures 11.9 x 8.4 x 1.2 cm and is equipped with a small QWERTY keyboard, Marvell PXA310 processor at 806 MHz, 3.2 megapixel camera, SD card reader, Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G, GPS and 1800 mAh battery.
Given the small size the device can be used as a smartphone, as also has the features needed to make and receive calls over cellular networks. Availability and pricing were not disclosed, but ZTE typically produces devices for various telecom operators worldwide, so the VZ could also be sold in the West.
