Digital Photography Review has revealed two new compact cameras created by Casio, the Casio EX-S200 and EX-Z800, not yet officially announced the market. It is not known when that will come out and price, but both models offer 14.1-megapixel camera with ability to shoot video at 720p, as well as a 4x optical zoom el’Exilim Engine 5.0, a sort of very advanced automatic mode.
Other specifications are not clear, but should not include any big news. There are big differences even between the two models, except that the Casio S200 seems to be slightly thinner, autofocus assist with the special light mode and Quick Mode. The Z800 model seems to be lighter and more “short”. What is promised as “super resolution zoom, or zoom with super resolution, a 6x digital zoom with an algorithm that reduces the image degradation, so the effect pixel.
