Yamaha XJR1200 by Jens Finke

The Yamaha XJR1200 is a naked oversized strong character. Produced from ’95 to ’99 is part of that market share (which still exists, fortunately) that contains large motion, all of iron, with large Jap 4 cylinder and aesthetic 70s. The current heir is called XJR 1300, the latest development that has lost the beloved battery of carburettors, real status symbol in this category, in favor of a more modern electronic fuel injection.

The special today is based on the first Spartan version, the German Jens Finke paid preparer as a aesthetics sock, leaving only the original tank as unique element. The front is something never seen and the latter is very short and racing. This result suggests a sort of steampunk cafe racer or street fighter with the handlebars, but we go into the details:

The front was completely misinterpreted. The spotlight small rectangular style very Teutonic, is coupled with the new design of steering plates, big as ever and forms squadratissime. The handlebars are positioned just below the top and the front fender is gone. However the stems are reversed and the brakes come from FZ1.
