New information on the upcoming 890GX Extreme4 high-end motherboard, which is an AMD chipset 890GX/SB850 combination safe. The new motherboard is suitable for the modern AM3 systems and can therefore be fitted with dual-, triple-, quad-and hexa-core processors from AMD.
Below follows an ATI Radeon HD4290 graphic chipset with 128MB of Ram SidePort, four DDR3-1866 DIMM slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots for CrossFireX or Quad Hybrid CrossFireX configurations, and five SATA 6.0Gbps interfaces. Moreover, it follows Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 7.1-channel audio, eSATA, FireWire and two USB 3.0 ports added. For the connection of monitors interfaces provide for D-Sub, DVI and HDMI.
