BlackPad, in fact, will use software designed specifically for the device created by QNX Software Systems, a company that was acquired by RIM in April for “only” 200 million dollars. QNX platform is already widespread on BMW, Porsche, Cisco and Caterpillar, among others, and now comes in a tablet that, despite not having the BlackBerry OS, it is still thought to ensure maximum integration with your RIM smartphone.
