Mitsubishi will present at the Paris show I-Miev in the standard version for the European market. Compared to the already known Japanese model, the car was modified in the design of bumpers to obtain the necessary approvals, were also revised the interior with a new center console and treated more details. The ASC stability control and side airbags are included among the standard equipment.
The car will be on sale from December 2010 in 14 European countries, including Italy, at a price yet to be determined: in Japan, thanks to incentives, the price falls by almost 35,000 to about 23,000 Euro. Meanwhile, the launch of the web site at www.new-imiev.com, while on the Italian web site bookings are already open. The car, we recall, was the basis for the emergence of Peugeot and Citroen C-Zero ion and offers the same basic mechanics: the electric motor has a torque of 180 Nm and 150 km batteries offer of autonomy, with the possibility of fast charge 80% in 30 minutes with appropriate facilities.
