Chevrolet has released the first official images of the 5-door Cruze to be presented to the forthcoming Paris Motor Show as a concept car. The standard version will come on the market in mid 2011, then the official presentation of the car will be held most probably at the Geneva Show next March. The Chevrolet Cruze 5-door hatchback is a genuine, sporty shapes that make it look like a coupe.
The car will replace the current Chevrolet Lacetti five-door and was born on the same platform as the Opel Astra, which is the cheaper version. Estimates of GM Europe, the 5-door Cruze will represent approximately 65% of sales model. As regards other aspects, the Chevrolet Cruze 5-door shines above all for comfort, since the trunk has a capacity of 400 liters, well exploited by the tailgate and rear seats 60/40 reclining second schema.
