This is on balance a variant of the Motorola Droid 2, launched by the U.S. giant a few months ago, and has the exact same specifications officers, with a 1 gigahertz processor OMAP 3620, 3.7-inch capacitive display, keyboard with the usual body slide full QWERTY and a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, as well as the inevitable Google’s Android operating system in version 2.2 Froyo.
The difference to his ‘cousin’, however, is all in livery inspired by the legendary droid R2-D2 of Star Wars, the legendary series created by George Lucas. The design remains in fact unchanged, but the painting of the phone has the typical staining pattern of the famous and the astro-droid that accompanied Anakin and Luke Skywalker in the course of science fiction saga.
