
Hanvon seems to be the first company to launch an ereader on the market based color e-paper technology for the display. As revealed by The New York Times, the Chinese company will unveil the terminal, as yet unnamed official FPD International 2010 event in Tokyo. The display is an e-paper from 9.68 inches created by E Ink, a company that had promised the e-paper in color by the end of 2010. The promise has been met, although the Hanvon waiting for the launch, which should take place next March 2011 for a price around $ 440, including WiFi and 3G connectivity with download content. The initial launch will take place in China where the price is lower than that dell’iPad, although Hanvon not intended to compete directly in the tablet market.
