New tablet Android coming from Japan, the TA117 Onkyo has recently been announced by Japan. Based on Version 2.2 “Froyo” Google’s mobile operating system, the Onkyo TA117 is driven by NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor, 1 GHz, and take a 10.1-inch touchscreen with 1024 x 600 pixels.
Weighing 800 grams and a size of 26.7 x 17.3 x 1.5 inches, this tablet Android Onkyo also has the following equipment: a 1.3 megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 2.1 (with EDR ), two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 16 GB internal memory (expandable with microSD cards the inevitable) and, finally, a lithium ion battery capable of delivering up to 6.5 hours of battery life.
Successor to TW317 tablet, the new Onkyo TA117 should debut in the coming weeks on the Japanese market, although at the moment we do not know yet the price. We’ll come back if the Onkyo decided to sell it in Europe in 2011.
