If vizio, totally dedicated to televisions, has decided to jump in the production of tablets, means that the market of the latter is expected to rise again: Via Tablet is the name of the last arrived signed by the well known for its TV, a tablet which just last night were confirmed some details already announced by some rumors. The new tablet will have an 8-inch screen high-definition (but unspecified), will have a front camera and three integrated speakers, as well as offering wi-fi connectivity. The more detail and confirmed safe, is the presence of Android as an operating system, maybe in version 2.4 or higher, since the tablet will not come before next summer.
Unfortunately, other details were not disclosed hardware, but will probably be introduced at CES 2011, however, the voices speak of a focus on 3D. Via the Tablet is expected to cost about $ 300 in the basic version. Vizio also simultaneously produce a cell phone, called Via Phone, with 4-inch display, 5 megapixel rear camera and front camera for video calls.
