I have a USB microphone that I use occasionally. I bought it to do video reviews so long ago and ended up using it for podcasts, talking with people on MMORPGs without having to wear a headset and software condition. The thing ended up being a really good buy. Samson is a new microphone that seems colder than the way I called the Mic Meteor.
The microphone is new chrome and retro looks. The stand adjusts and can bend or be adjusted in different positions to hold the microphone just as you want it to be. The Meteor comes with the USB cable and a soft carrying case. No drivers are needed for use and has a headphone jack so you can monitor what is being recoded.
This works for home music recording, podcasting, VoIP and all sorts of other uses. The aperture is 25mm and has a cardioid pickup. The frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and records in CD quality. It will hit stores April 15 for $ 99.
