The ASUS N53JF is a laptop with 15.6-inch display that is firstly as a multimedia station level, with special care for quality and performance audio and video. The look is not flashy or aggressive, but it is well cared for: the outside of the lid is colored gray smoke, thus giving it that “serious”to the laptop, open the lid, we find the black frame that holds the screen, while a ‘union of the various grays and blacks covering the areas around the keyboard and palmrest. Studying the ridges, it is impossible not to notice the light gray strip that runs along the sides and ends in a wave overturned near the hinges that hold the screen.
The materials used for the ASUS N53JF are, for the most part, plastic, even if the metal was used in the area which is the palm rest, thus giving a fair impression of strength.The keyboard is also made of black and consists of a classic layout, with numeric keypad. The distance between the individual buttons is acceptable and the long hours of typing will therefore not be a problem. We must, however, to note the dips in some parts of the keyboard, which may annoy the users’ demands.
The touchpad has a surface of 8,2 x5, 3 cm and responds well to the touch of our fingers as far forward in the palmrest area, the sensitive area could be slightly larger.
