The exit of the A77, the third reflex mirror Sony translucent, is certain: indeed, the machine would be prepared: an employee of Sony UK as saying that “these will be specific to amaze those who have a A700 (second only to full-frame DSLR A900) . The A77 is the model that will replace it.
The A77 should have a Sony 24 Megapixel sensor, with sensitivity in the hundreds of thousands of ISO, the Full-HD video, an electronic viewfinder, perhaps with OLED technology, and perhaps a hybrid viewfinder, optical and electronic, the Fujifilm type of X100, but on Sony patent (as seen here). The body should be larger and more robust models of existing Sony A55 and A33. Still, there is talk of a battery sufficient for 1000 shots per charge, and three slots for Compact Flash, Secure Digital and Memory Stick. The launch price could be around 900-1200 dollars (for comparison, the A55 costs 799 €).
