With the Canon IXUS 310 HS, the Canon PowerShot SX230 and SX220 HS HS, Canon also announced the new Ixus 220 HS. It is a compact pocket-sized high-end back-illuminated CMOS sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels, 2.7 inch LCD screen and 5x zoom lens that covers focal lengths from 24mm to 120mm equivalent.
Like the other compact, too, is able to record HD video at 24fps or 1080p with Super Slow Motion mode, get to 240fps to lower the resolution to 320 × 240. It will be marketed from mid of this month target price of 239 €.
