Dell refreshes Latitude business notebook line by introducing attractive new models in the Dell Latitude E5420, E5520, E6220, E6320, E6420, E6520, E6420 ATG. The Latitude E-Series family is enriched with new Intel Core Second Generation, and adds new options regarding the allocation of memory and the graphics subsection. Among other features, each of the models presented by the manufacturer, is equipped with a backlit keyboard that guarantees operation even in the absence of illumination.
Dell intentionally wanted to reinforce the structure of these notebooks to make them more suitable for everyday use for a business-man on the move, which needs access to reliable and durable. The new family of portable computers given by the manufacturer is available in different form factors, from 12.1 to 15.6 inches, and with different techniques that allow a clear choice to suit your needs.
Looking at, for example, the top of the range represented by the model Dell Latitude E6520 15.6-inch, we find that Dell allows you to choose between different versions of the Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft, but also, possibly, the Linux distribution Ubuntu 10.10. Based on the Intel Express HM65, Dell Latitude E6520 can be fitted with either an anti-glare panel LED-backlit 1366 x 768 pixels or a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (FullHD).
The video card section that underlies the graphics are combined with an Nvidia 4200M NVSTM controller integrated Intel HD 3000.
