Avast, the popular anti-virus anti-spyware free, is now in its sixth edition. Early beta version we have already seen HERE, Avast 6 incorporates additional features to the previous edition in the name of greater security and reliability.
As already seen in the beta, Avast 6 introduces the feature “AutoSandbox”to create an isolated space within the system where confine unknown programs or processes, in order to run them without affecting the information and suffer damage to system.
Among other innovations Avast 6 include “WebRep”, a plugin for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, which can detect malicious web sites through the browser and “SafeZone”, the virtual area used for the transmission of sensitive data, useful – for example – when you shop online. It ‘also possible to create a sort of black list of undesirable sites through the function “Block Sites “.
