Three new Celeron processors Sandy Bridge expected for the third quarter of 2011.
The new processors have been identified by the initials Celeron G440, G530 and G540: the last two are based on two core processors and also offer the ability to run two threads at a time. Not only that, these solutions also offer integrated graphics with a working frequency of 850 MHz, the basic version, or 1 GHz in turbo configuration.
The manufacturer also stated that the latest computing platforms can work with a memory of 2 MB L3 cache with a dissipation factor of 64 W: the only difference between the two solutions is that the variant G530 can operate at 2.4 GHz while the solution identified as the G540 also comes with 2.5 GHz
The Intel Celeron G440 variant offers a significantly reduced consumption as much as candidates for such applications. Not only that, according to the specifications released by the manufacturer, we learn that the G440 version uses a single-threaded, single core with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz integrated graphics section is based on a working frequency of 1 GHz in turbo mode, so as in previous solutions, while the basic version has a speed of 650 MHz.Anche this solution uses a type of tertiary memory cache, L3 2 MB with a TDP of 35 W.
These new solutions also comply with the Intel Celeron specific 64-bit and the ability to virtualize applications (VT-x) thanks to Sandy Bridge architecture.
You can certainly say that the new processors will be made to the LGA package 1155.
