According to a recent DigiTimes report shipments of the popular Asus Eee Pad Transformer exceeded the high figure of 400,000 units shipped per month.

Industry analysts cite anonymous sources to suppliers panel touchscreen device shipments are expected to argue that further growth will reach a height of up to 500,000 units per month.
Asus, meanwhile, expects to achieve a value between 4 and 5 million orders shipped by adding the full range of models currently on the list, by the second half of 2011. Of the nearly 3 million units of Eee Pad Transformers may be, if the report proves correct DigiTimes.

Analysts at JP Morgan Chase said last month that sales of the Eee Pad Transformer are slow and the product was widely present in the warehouses of stores. But this high volume of shipments suggests that in fact the real situation could be exactly the opposite of the above, or that sales are increasing.
The Eee Pad Transformer has a 10.1-inch screen, a dual-core 2 Tegra and Android 3.1 Honeycomb. It also comes with a full keyboard like that of a normal notebook.
The product can be used alone or combined with the keyboard so that its functionality is more similar to that of a normal laptop.
