On the official website of the Archos, have been published prices of the two new tablets Archos Archos 101 and 80 belonging to the line Gen9. The first model has an 8-inch form factor and uses a powerful processor and generous ARM Cortex A9 dual core 1.5 GHz operating system chosen by the producer is the 3.1 release of Google Android HoneyComb with all applications that follow and with the ability to download directly from other online Market, which is now provided for any reason.
Archos 80 is equipped with a multitouch capacitive touchscreen display 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution and is accompanied by a digital video camera capable of shooting 720p. Storage starts at 8 GB but can reach, depending on the model chosen, up to 256 GB. It must be remembered that the microSD card slot extends these capabilities. Archos 80, equipped with HDMI video output, it offers Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and WiFi 802.11b/g/n and is expected to communicate in versions 8, 16 and 250 GB and have a launch price of, respectively, at 299.99 , 329.99 and 369.99 dollars.
Gen9 Archos 101 comes in the same versions of the previous model but with prices starting at 369.99 dollars. Even in this case the processor is a dual core 1.5 GHz, but one major difference concerns the form factor and, consequently, the display. In fact, the Archos 101 features a 10.1-inch touch screen panel that can return images with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It is always a multitouch display based on capacitive technology.
Archos 101 G9 shares with the previous model, virtually all the rest of the configuration, since the operating system installed (it is possible to upgrade to version 3.2) to finish the integrated camera and HDMI port for connection to external TV sets.
