After the launch of its operating system OS and chromebook Chrome, Google aims to create a complete ecosystem around its new OS by offering users and software companies mature and functional. The Mountain View company, which has based much of the success of Android applications, tries to replicate itself by encouraging developers to plan for its operating system. Through an ad, published on the official blog, Google is launching a competition for developers Italians.
Competition Chrome Web Store: develop an app and win a chromebook
Up to 12 next September, the developer, can make the Italian web app for Chrome OS into four categories: entertainment, social and communication, games and utilities. The applications most original, most useful and most creative will be included in the Chrome Web Store Italian and will be subject to a specific campaign. The winning applications will be four (one for each category) and the prizes will be awarded to all members of the development team (maximum 3 persons) or to the individual participant.
The prize is a chromebook (12 up for grabs), the notebook OS Chrome, Google launched a few weeks ago.
