During the FPD International 2010, Samsung showed a prototype of the first 7-inch display with a resolution of 1200 × 600 pixels WXVGA. After extensive testing on the panel, the Korean company has decided to increase the screen resolution in question, adding to his offer a new version of 1024 x 768 pixels. Samsung has begun production of OLED display last June, but this model will feature a different technology.
AMOLED Display-Super-Plus for Galaxy Tab 7 ”
The prototype on display at the Samsung booth at FPD International 2010 was based on AMOLED technology standards. Samsung Mobile Display, however, wants more: it is possible that the new 7-inch screen is equipped with AMOLED technology Super-Plus. The size of the glass layer were significantly reduced, from 1,300 × 1500 mm (OLED) to 730 × 920 mm (AMOLED). This feature will boost the productivity and therefore competitiveness.

From a practical standpoint, the production of AMOLED display Super-Plus-7-inch with 1024 × 768 pixel has only one meaning. Samsung is preparing to launch the second generation of its popular Galaxy Tab 7. Do not be surprised if the launch was expected by 2011, it was spoken for some time.
