The Apple tablet may be used in different ways, not only to read eBooks, play games or surf the Internet. Many magicians use the iPad for their illusions, but the publicity stunt of Hearst, the company that publishes magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Esquire notes, surpasses them all in originality. To promote the new magazine for Cosmo Guys, a girl went around the streets of New York with a “helmet” formed by four iPad 2.
The campaign, called iPad Head Girl, is basically the modern version of the old “sandwich man”. On the displays of four iPad, assembled in the shape of a cube, you play a recorded video corresponding to the four sides of the head. But the girl can not see the road, wearing special glasses so on which is projected the image captured by a camera hidden in his bag.
“Cosmo for Guys” is the first magazine for men written by women only. The message of viral marketing so it’s “get into the head of a girl”, turning the pages on the iPad.
As can be seen in the video, the girl iPad has attracted the attention of several people, but only one boy had the courage to get close to “touch” his face, or the screen of the tablet, to launch the digital version of the magazine.
