Lenovo has launched a new solution for the professional segment offering its form factor ThinkCentre M71z of 20-inch all-in-one version. The product was designed and built for business applications or, in principle, for those who need to use a work platform with performance characteristics of interest.
The Chinese manufacturer has decided to use an Intel Core series of second generation and also allows to exploit the presence of a monitor on touchscreen technology and a 2 MP webcam particularly suitable for video conferencing.
According to the information offered by Lenovo is learned that the computer uses its Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience 2.0 which allows to boot the machine in about 15 seconds with a solid-state drive.
Specifications released by the manufacturer put in evidence the presence of memory technology, DDR3 and up to 1 TB of mass storage or 160 GB solid state memory. The screen is based on 20-inch form factor with support to the touchscreen technology.
The processor architecture belongs to Sandy Bridge and probably will, according to some sites, the proposed architecture of four cores.
Not only that, the work platform also includes the presence of WiFi connections, six USB ports, a DisplayPort, a DVD burner, six USB 2.0 connectors.
The ThinkCentre M71z all-in-one will be available from October at a cost of about $ 599 with the usual operating system Microsoft Windows 7 Professional edition.
The new Lenovo computer also responds to several specific reference including Energy Star 5.2, EPEAT Gold Edge Certified TCO.
It is not clear when the version of USB supported, in fact, some believe that the new Lenovo will be presented in October could use version 2.0 instead of the latest version, or USB 3.0.
