Wacom is the largest and leading manufacturer of graphics boards for professionals and has always been an innovator in the industry. Among his best-known product lines Bamboo is definitely a family which now expands with the introduction of three new models, Wacom Bamboo Connect, Capture and Create, addressed to different usage profiles and different costs, so meet everyone’s needs.
The basic model is represented by Wacom Bamboo Connect, a pen-only model, characterized by stylized forms and an elegant black color. Connect offers therefore a Pen input with active hover detection and deletion functions (like a mouse hover, which allows the display of context menus that only the passage of the cursor, without clicking). The pen has 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, so as to ensure the accuracy and responsiveness to commands and has an area equal to writing 147.32 x 91.44 mm.
The bundle includes Autodesk Sketchbook Expres s creative application, which includes several tools for drawing in ink and color and paint. Wacom Bamboo Connect is marketed at a cost of 79.95 dollars. The model is represented more than once by Wacom Bamboo Capture that offers everything we saw for the Connect model, adding more multi-touch type in an area of ??less than 16 points of contact, which allows the use of many gestures familiar to all, as vertical two-finger scrolling, pinch to zoom, etc.. Capture has the same design and same size as the version of Connect, but the coloring provides the tones of gray. The cost of this solution is 99.95 dollars. Finally, the top model is the Wacom Bamboo Create. It is essentially a version of Capture extra large, from which it borrows lines, color and multi-touch features, but with a writing surface of the well-215.9 x 137.16 mm. Finally, once again, leveling up a bundle are richer and then, with the two programs mentioned for the capture, we find even more Corel Painter Essentials. The cost of Wacom Bamboo Create is 199.95 dollars.
Finally, another interesting feature is the ability to capture and create models, to be used without direct connection to the PC. With a plug-in RF and a battery because the two panels will be completely independent and can communicate with the remote computer. The maximum range for the RF module is ten meters, while the battery provides a range of 15 hours for the Wacom Bamboo Capture and Create for 10 hours. Then you can charge via USB devices.
